Outreach Programs

The Reggie Smith II Foundation made a nice donation to Britton Christian Church today July 26, 2011. The Foundation donated $4000.00 to the Church to be allocated amongst these programs; Britton Scholars program ($2500.00), Ballroom dancing program ($1000.00) and the back to school supply drive ($500.00). These programs benefit the under privileged youth of north Oklahoma City.
Through outreach programs Reggie Smith II Foundation serves disadvantaged communities in the Oklahoma City metro area by promoting education, individual character and community building. By partnering with local churches and other charitable organizations, we are able to provide help for those in need, while supporting better education for disadvantaged children and families. The effect of which is stronger communities.
Thanksgiving Basket or Dinner
Partner with Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, other charitable organization and the various churches to provide Thanksgiving basket for needy families in the Oklahoma City Metro area.
Study Buddy after School Program
The program consists of elementary, middle school and high school kids participating in after school classroom studies. The program consists of volunteers with no paid staff. The program is located in the North Highlands area at Britton Christian Church. The after school program is operated weekly from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, Tuesday and Thursday. Already in place are directors who have laid out a good course study outline for the children in need of educational assistance. This program has these benefits, Britton Scholar Fund, ACT Prep course for high school students, and an annual ski trip for the kids in the program. Britton Scholarship Fund
The Reggie Smith II Foundation knows that education can provide the path to a better life. All too often, finances can be an impediment to achieving higher education. That is why our Foundation has partnered with the Britton Scholarship fund to assist graduating High School Students in need. This scholarship provides its recipients with a $1000.00 cash award per semester. Recipients mush also maintain above a 2.75 GPA in college to stay eligible for the award. Currently the Reggie Smith II Foundation will provide assistance to the scholarships recipients.
